The goal of the sales team is to generate new business opportunities and build awareness of Walton County as a destination for the meetings and conventions, incentives, weddings, and consumer travel markets. We aim to be a trusted source of information while inspiring group travel to Walton County.

Meeting Planner Event, Jan. 18
The Sales and Marketing teams are taking a taste of Walton County to Dallas on Thursday, Jan.18! The event will promote Walton County as a meetings destination to planners based in the Dallas area by introducing them to local chefs, artists and meetings partners. IPEC, Jan. 21-23
IPEC (Independent Planner Education Conference) will be held in Greenville, S.C., January 21-23.
Visitor Center Updates:
The visitor center staff welcomed 974 people during the month of November and sold $14,338 in branded merchandise. Our featured item for the start of the new year is our Sport-Tek ¼ Zip Sweatshirt.
Sport-Tek ¼ Zip Sweatshirt:
These durable, colorfast quarter-zips feature a better fit with minimal shrinkage, as well as 2x2 rib knit cuffs and waistband. It's made of a 65/35 ratio of ring spun combed cotton and poly fleece. Available in Small-3XL in Navy, White, & Grey Heather. Our South Walton logo is embroidered on the left chest in white on the grey heather and navy sweatshirts and in full color on the white sweatshirts.
