Nominations Open for 2024 Perfect in Walton County Awards:

The annual Perfect in Walton County Awards nomination period runs from Aug. 1-18. Anyone can nominate businesses through the online form at perfectinwaltoncounty.com.

Nominations can be made in as many or as few categories as you wish, but only one online form per email address will be accepted. Every nomination counts and every vote counts! Visitor-facing businesses may encourage their guests, customers, followers, friends and family to nominate them in any of the thirty categories. Graphics for social media use can be found HERE.

Businesses and/or individuals must be located and serve/do business in Walton County to qualify, and businesses and/or individuals who provide beach services (i.e., photographer, yoga, bonfires, chair vendor, etc.) must hold a current vendor permit with the Walton County Code Compliance Department to be considered. The contest rules can be found HERE.

The top five nominees in each category will move on to the final voting round, which will be held online at perfectinwaltoncounty.com Sept. 5-22. The top three businesses with the highest number of votes in each category will be recognized as Diamond, Platinum or Gold winners at the Perfect in Walton County Awards presentation in January 2024. These winners will be promoted in print and online by Walton County Tourism throughout the year.

Some of last year’s Diamond winners included The Blue Giraffe for Best Art Gallery/ Studio, Indigo Watercolor for Best Retailer, and Black Bear Bread Co. for Best Coffee House. Are you taking advantage of the free business listings on our website? Please take a moment to check your business information on our website or in the Extranet. We want to make sure we're including the most up-to-date contact details from all visitor-facing businesses throughout Walton County in our database. There is a special emphasis on updating the businesses and attractions in the northern part of the county, which are new features in our print guides and on our website.
