SALES + VISITOR CENTER
The goal of the sales team is to generate new business opportunities and build awareness of South Walton as a destination for the meetings and conventions, incentives, weddings, and consumer travel markets. We aim to be a trusted source of information while inspiring group travel to South Walton.
Recent Industry Events:
The Group Sales team hosted eight meeting planners from Helms Briscoe, a global leader in meetings procurement and site selection, for a FAM trip Dec. 13-15. Seven planners were from Florida, and one was from Vermont. The group had a wonderful time experiencing hotels, meeting venues, activities and restaurants over the course of two days. All the partners who showcased their services during the FAM made quite an impression! One lead has been generated so far from their visit.

Group Sales staff members will be attending the Independent Planners Education Conference Jan. 24-26 in Memphis, Tenn.
Visitor Center Updates:
The Visitor Center staff welcomed 872 people during the month of December and sold $13,023 in Walton County merchandise. Our featured item for January is our Comfort Colors “Keep Changing Your Scenery” Long-sleeve Tee.
