The goal of the sales team is to generate new business opportunities and build awareness of South Walton as a destination for the meetings and conventions, incentives, weddings, and consumer travel markets. We aim to be a trusted source of information while inspiring group travel to South Walton.

Rendezvous South — May 9-11 in Branson, MO

• The Sales team represented South Walton at this limited-attendance, boutique-style event which featured all the charms of Southern destinations. Known for its relaxed, small-group setting and meaningful appointments with meeting planners, Rendezvous South inspires lasting business relationships that continue long after the event.

 

MPI North Florida Golf Tournament — May 23 in Jacksonville, FL

• VSW was a sponsor at this inaugural event, where we provided logoed bags and golf balls to each player and participant, and were recognized on all signage, the website, and during the reception following the tournament. There were approximately 75 attendees.

FL Society of Association Executives Annual Meeting

• VSW is a sponsor of this event where we will connect with Association meeting planners based in Florida through educational sessions with interactive discussions, networking experiences, and a tradeshow.

 

 

Visitor Center Updates:

For the month of May, the Visitor Center welcomed 1,581 guests and sold $15,178 in merchandise.
