2022 Walton County Artist of the Year:
Applications for the 2022 Walton County Artist of the Year will be accepted until 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17. Now in its 20th year, this award recognizes a local artist who lives and works in Walton County and whose signature style embodies the creativity and beauty for which the area is known.

2022 Perfect in South Walton Awards:
The nomination period has ended! The top five nominees in each category will move onto the voting round, which is open from Sept. 27 through Oct. 22. We encourage both residents and visitors to vote for their favorite South Walton businesses, events, and activities through our online form at www.perfectinsouthwalton.com. Remember, every vote counts and it could make the difference in winning!
We allow only one complete online form per person (no duplicates accepted). our visitor-facing partners may encourage their guests, customers, social media followers, friends, and family to vote for them. Partners can CLICK HERE to download Perfect Award voting graphics to use on their social media accounts.
The top three businesses, events, or activities with the highest number of votes in each category will be recognized as Diamond, Platinum, or Gold winners in January 2022. Winners will be promoted in print and online throughout the year.

Media Hot Leads Program:
We've launched a MEDIA HOT LEADS PROGRAM, designed to share media requests for your input directly and in real-time. Our PR agency, TURNER, will be sharing media requests with you through this dedicated email program, and you will be able to directly submit your information for media consideration. Please note, submitting your information is not a guarantee that you will be included in editorial coverage but ensures you are considered for inclusion.
Each email will detail the media request, as well as any special requirements from the journalist. Some of the leads might not be relevant to all our tourism partners, but the program will enable you to more easily share your news when relevant and could potentially result in additional media coverage. Please feel free to have any of your team, or PR agency partners, sign up to receive the media leads to ensure your ability to respond.
