Tourism Workshops:

As part of National Travel and Tourism Week, Visit South Walton hosted three tourism industry workshops at the Linkside Conference Center within the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort on May 6. Speakers included: Dave Serino, founder and chief strategist at TwoSix Digital; Taylor Hill, Business Development Manager at KeyData Dashboard; and Scott Russell, Partner at Russell and Russell Consulting. Free Hospitality Job Listings:

As Walton County prepares for the upcoming summer season, the Walton County TDC wants to help support our partners who are looking to add to their teams. We've created a job listings page on our website to share openings and opportunities. 

If you’re currently hiring staff in the hospitality industry, we’d love to help you promote available positions. For those looking for a job in the hospitality industry, we hope this is a great resource for you!

Beach Safety Meeting:

As we prepare for the upcoming summer season, the Walton County TDC would like to invite our partners to attend a beach safety meeting on May 18 at the South Walton Annex located at 31 Coastal Centre Blvd., in Santa Rosa Beach. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. and we'll plan to discuss beach safety in South Walton.

Media Hot Leads Program:

We've launched a MEDIA HOT LEADS PROGRAM, designed to share media requests for your input directly and in real-time. Our PR agency, TURNER, will be sharing media requests with you through this dedicated email program, and you will be able to directly submit your information for media consideration.  Please note, submitting your information is not a guarantee that you will be included in editorial coverage but ensures you are considered for inclusion.   

Each email will detail the media request, as well as any special requirements from the journalist. Some of the leads might not be relevant to all our tourism partners, but the program will enable you to more easily share your news when relevant and could potentially result in additional media coverage. Please feel free to have any of your team, or PR agency partners, sign up to receive the media leads to ensure your ability to respond.
