Visitor Center Updates: 

The Visitor Center reopened to the public May 22. Guests are being assisted outside while socially distanced. Staff continues to answer phone calls and provide information about South Walton.

For the month of August, the Visitor Center welcomed 584 guests and sold $8,948 in merchandise. An in-store pickup option is available on our online store, so visitors or residents who are nearby can place an order online and skip the shipping costs by picking up their merchandise at the Visitor Center.

 

Grayton Central Shuttle:

As part of a pilot program, the TDC operated a shuttle service via golf carts from the Grayton Central parking lot on CR 283. The program transported more than 15,000 riders from the parking lot to the beach and businesses such as Chiringo and The Red Bar in Grayton Beach. The shuttle operated early mornings for fishing charters (6-8 a.m.), Sunday through Thursday from from 8 a.m.-11 p.m. and Friday/Saturday from 8 a.m.-midnight. The shuttle program ran from July 15 through Sept. 7.
