Package Items Requested for Birmingham Event
The VSW Sales Department will soon be promoting the destination at the Wine, Women & Shoes event in Birmingham, AL.
Attracting 400 affluent, socially-connected women, the event includes a fashion show and a live auction. As a sponsor, VSW will offer two South Walton vacation packages. Package donations must include a 3-night stay with an expiration date of one year from April 20, 2020, and must include at least one dining experience and/or an activity in South Walton. Giveaways must be received by February 26th, 2020.

Recently attended and upcoming events for Visit South Walton's Sales Team:
IPEC: This is a new trade show to the sales missions. Hosted by Northstar Meetings Group, this tradeshow brings highly-qualified independent meeting planners and CVBs and hoteliers from across the country together in an educational setting. Staff will have one-on-one pre-scheduled appointments over a 2-day span.
Upcoming:
Connect Business Travel: This is a new trade show to the sales missions. Connect Business Travel brings together Corporate Travel Executives with key suppliers for one-on-one appointments conducted in a reverse-style trade show format. The pre-scheduled appointments take place over a 2-day span.

- Visitor Count:
- January 2020: 2,357 visitors, up 14% over January 2019's total of 2,064.
- Merchandise Sales:
- January 2020: $7,800, up 51% over January 2019's sales of $5,167.
